Large Emergency Response In Naugatuck Leads to Found 5-Year-Old, Police Say

Emergency crews responded to a report of a missing 5-year-old with special needs, police said Saturday.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” The Naugatuck Police Department, along with the Naugatuck Fire Department and EMS, responded to the area of Ann and Cherry streets, and the Naugatuck State Forest at 9:30 a.m. for a report of a missing 5-year-old with special needs, police said.

The child was ultimately found unharmed, police added. "We thank our local partners for their assistance during this investigation," police said.
