Motorist Strikes Student Pedestrian In Waterbury: PD

An investigation into the accident is ongoing, according to police.

WATERBURY, CT β€” A 16-year-old student was struck by a vehicle while walking near a local high school Thursday morning, according to police.

Sgt. Joseph Morais said the student was injured, but the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

All parties involved remained on scene, according to police.
