Man Dies After Falling From Roof In Waterbury: PD

The victim had been working on a three-story house at the time, according to police.

WATERBURY, CT — A man suffered fatal injuries after falling from the roof of a three-family house on Thursday morning, police said.

Officer Nyjah Porcher said police responded to the residence, at 57 Southview St., around 11:42 a.m.

The victim had been working on the roof at the time, according to police. The structure is three stories high.

He was rushed to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, Porcher said.

Police have not yet released the victim’s identity.

The accident remains under investigation.
