Masked Men Steal Jewelry At Waterbury Mall: PD
The thieves shattered glass jewelry display cases with a hammer, according to police.
WATERBURY, CT β Two masked men burglarized a jewelry business in the Brass Mill Center mall Saturday night, stealing about $10,000 worth of valuables before fleeing, police said.
Sergeant Joseph Morais said the two men entered Banter Jewelry inside the mall around 8:31 p.m.
The men shattered glass jewelry display cases with a hammer, grabbed jewelry from the kiosk and then fled, police said.

No one was injured during the incident. The mall closed for business on Saturday around 8 p.m., according to the mallβs website.
An investigation into the theft is ongoing.
