Update: Naugatuck police said Wednesday in an updated Facebook post the missing man "has been safely located."


NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck police are asking for the public's help locating a 52-year-old man reported missing since Friday.

In a Facebook post, police described Michael Montouri as 5 feet, 11 inches tall and approximately 185 pounds.

He was last seen Feb. 28 wearing jeans, a brown jacket and a navy blue beanie, police said.

Montouri walks with a cane and is known to frequent the Pond Street area of Naugatuck, according to police.
