With social distancing and rules against patrons touching produce, Naugatuck Farmers Market is set to return this Wednesday.
NAUGATUCK, CT β The Naugatuck Farmer's Market is back for another season of fresh produce. Starting Wednesday, July 8, and running through October 28, the farmer's market will welcome customers at Naugatuck Greet at the corner of Church and Division streets.
On Wednesdays, the market will run 10 am to 2 pm. Sundays will give shoppers a chance to snag fresh produce as early as 9:30 am, though the market will close at 1 pm.
This year's season of fresh fruits and vegetables is rolling out with additional coronavirus-related safety measures. In a Facebook post Sunday Naugatuck Mayor Pete Hess asked customers, "Please maintain social distancing and be patient as our farmers take extra precautions to keep you safe."
