Naugatuck Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography
City man accused of downloading and trading illegal pictures and videos of children.
A Naugatuck man was arrested Friday for allegedly downloading and trading illicit photos and videos of children.
While investigating a child pornography complaint, Naugatuck police discovered that Michael Maldonado, 34, of Galpin Street, had downloaded and traded illegal images and videos.
He was arrested Friday afternoon on a warrant for felony possession of child pornography and held on $50,000.
Maldonado was arraigned in Waterbury Superior Court on Monday and held on $150,000 pending his next court date, March 26. He has yet to enter a plea.
