Naugatuck Restaurant To Close Next Week After 10 Years In Business
The owners of 66 Church in Naugatuck have announced the restaurant will close its doors for good in late October.
NAUGATUCK, CT — 66 Church, a popular downtown restaurant and bar Naugatuck, will close its doors for good next week after 10 years in business.
The owners announced on Facebook the restaurant's last day of operation will be Tuesday, Oct. 29 after "10 years of unforgettable memories."
To mark the occasion, the restaurant will throw one last Taco Tuesday event that night called "66's Last Call."

As part of the event, karaoke will take place from 9 p.m. until close with DJ Sunshyne, and all bars will be open.
"This is your final chance to celebrate with us and say goodbye to your favorite bartenders," the owners said on Facebook.

The restaurant will also host its final Halloween party Saturday night, featuring DJ music, a costume contest and drink specials.
The restaurant's closure was first announced earlier this month.
Described as an American gastropub and restaurant "captivating a cozy, warm, uplifting, wood atmosphere," 66 Church opened in 2015 at 66 Church Street in Naugatuck.
While 66 Church is closing, the owners teased earlier this month that it "isn't the end."
"Something new is coming in 2025, a new spot with new owners!" the owners wrote. "Stay tuned—you won't want to miss what's coming!"
