Naugatuck Senior Wellness Day

Senior citizens and their families headed to the Naugatuck Senior Center on Thursday to enjoy the Wellness Day.

The Naugatuck Senior Center and Ion Bank Foundation hosted the 19th annual Naugatuck Senior Wellness Day on Apr. 18, 2024. The event filled many of the rooms of the historic carriage house that serves as the Naugatuck Senior Center.

The free event ran for four and a half hours and it included complimentary screenings and lots of information for seniors and their families.

Many other services were represented at the Wellness Day. They included Naugatuck Podiatry Associates, Ion Bank, Coastal Hearing Aid Center, Naugatuck Podiatry Associates, Complete Care@Glendale, Beacon Brook Health Cared, CERT - Community Safety Information, Naugatuck Ambulance Association, Stokes/THE WISE PROGRAM-Wellness in Support of Elders, and many more.

A complimentary breakfast and lunch were served to the first 150 participants. Fresh fruit and juices, as well as bread, were available free of charge.
