Man Accused Of Stabbing 2 Household Members Arrested In Naugatuck: UPDATE
Police said a man accused of fleeing from his home on foot after stabbing two adult household members was arrested in Naugatuck.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A man accused of fleeing from his home on foot after stabbing two adult household members was arrested in Naugatuck late Sunday night, according to police.
In an updated news release Monday morning, police said Stanley Santana, 25, of Naugatuck, was arrested a short distance away from Margaret Circle shortly after police were called to the area around 10:30 p.m. for a report of a physical assault involving a knife.
Officers arrested Santana and recovered a knife from him, police said.

According to police, Santana fled from his home on foot after stabbing two adult household members, whose injuries police described as "serious."
The two injured household members were taken to area hospitals for treatment with their conditions now being listed as "stable," according to police.

Santana was charged with first-degree assault, carrying a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.
He was held on a $750,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Monday, according to police.
