A Torrington woman is due in court Wednesday on charges that she stole $6,600 worth of jewelry from an acquaintance in Naugatuck.
Police said the woman was arrested by warrant at 2:20 a.m. on Feb. 13, for a larceny that dates back to Aug. 16, 2013. She was an accomplice to the crime, police said.
The woman, Tess Thompson, 21, was charged with fifth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny, third-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny.

Thompson was released on a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 26.
