Road, Off Ramp Closed Due To Overturned Tractor Trailer In Naugatuck: Police
Police said a portion of a road and an off ramp in Naugatuck are closed due to an overturned tractor trailer.
NAUGATUCK, CT — A portion of a road and an off ramp in Naugatuck are closed Thursday afternoon due to an overturned tractor trailer in the area, according to police.
In a Facebook post around 10:45 a.m., police said the Route 8 south Exit 26 off ramp is closed due to the overturned vehicle.
North Main Street is also closed at Woodbine Street, according to police.

To access the Route 8 north on ramp near Cumberland Farms on North Main Street, drivers are asked to follow this detour:
- North Main Street right onto Woodbine Street, left onto Golden Hill Street, left onto Hopkins Street, right onto the on ramp.
A timeline for when the road and the off ramp will reopen was not provided by police.
