NAUGATUCK, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes

Cake decorator at shop rite and owns Naugatuck valley soup kitchen

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
In a time of need she started the Naugatuck valley soup kitchen and is delivering meals for free to people as well as sewing masks for those in need out of the goodwill of her heart

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Her passion is to care for the feed people the soup kitchen lets her do just that
