NAUGATUCK, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
As his Father says, He's on the travel team. Whenever there is need for more EMTs, Jay doesn't hesitate to travel wherever he is needed. Having just spent a month and a half putting himself at risk helping those in need in the worst affected areas from Covid, Boston and NYC, working around the clock to try and help make a difference. He is a role model to his boys, and our community, always there to help others when it's needed not only in our town, but all over the country.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
He's a great guy doing great things to help his fellow Americans.
