Video: Man Busts Through Truck Window In Naugatuck, Runs Away

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Ring camera captured footage of shirtless man smashing through the rear passenger-side window of a parked pickup truck. In a Facebook post, the Naugatuck Police Department said it is investigating the incident.

The incident took place just after 3:30 a.m. on the morning of July 5, according to the timestamp on the video.

In the video, the suspect, who appears to be a young white male using a red t-shirt as a mask, approaches the truck carrying a rock or cinder block. The shirt falls from his face just before he throws the object through the glass.

In the Facebook post, the department describes the man's attempt to "gain entry to the victim vehicle," though the video shows the man running from the scene immediately after breaking the window.

"There were a number of incidents in the area of Brittany Lane and Michelle Lane which we believe may be connected," the department said.
