Attend a Fundraising Party at Waveny, Help the Homeless
Food, entertainment and an auction to benefit a South Bronx housing program for the homeless are all part of the fundraiser.
The second annual fundraiser for the Thorpe Family Residence is coming April 24. The event features food, entertainment, and an auction to benefit a housing program in the South Bronx.
The program helps homeless families seeking temporary shelter and those in need of permanent, supportive housing.
The event runs from 7 to 11 p.m. at Waveny House in Waveny Park, 766 South Ave.
