Former Bankwell CEO Peyton Patterson Sells New Canaan Home for $5.1M
The former CEO of Bankwell's Clearview Lane house had been bought for $4.2 million in 2012, according to Zillow.

Peyton Patterson, former CEO of New Canaan-based Bankwell bank, resigned from her position in August after it was reported that she had been ordered to pay various bills to country clubs and a contractor.
Now she appears to have raised some money with the sale of her house at 112 Clearview Ln. for $5,200,000. on Nov. 7, the 3.22-acre estate was bought by Belcam Holdings LLC of 115 E. Putnam Ave., Ste. 3 in Greenwich. The sale papers were filed Nov. 12 in the New Canaan Town Clerk’s Office.
The Clearview Lane estate has six bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, features a hot tub/spa and sauna and had last been sold in 2012 for $4.2 million, according to Zillow.com.

On the Zillow website, the house is described in part this way: “All three floors were completely renovated in 2012/2013 using the finest designers and materials. High ceilings throughout, large, graciously proportioned rooms, exceptional detailing, stunning interiors and a fabulous terrace overlooking Collins Pond that is simply magical.”
Belcam took out two mortgages for the house, one for $2.7 million and the other for $300,000, according to town land records. Peyton’s current address was recorded as a house on Sunset Hill Road which Zillow.com estimates is worth almost $2.5 million.

Last summer, the Hartford Business Journal reported that judges have ordered Patterson to repay nearly $393,000 owed to American Express, two private country clubs and a contractor who performed work at her New Canaan home.
