New Canaan Police are on the lookout for a green, older-model SUV after the driver allegedly exposed himself to a woman on Main Street near Burtis Avenue, masturbating toward her from the vehicle's window, police said Tuesday.
According to Sgt. Carol Ogrinc, a 47-year-old Stamford woman was at the intersection of Main and Burtis waiting to cross the street at approximately 12:46 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, when the offending vehicle approached traveling north on Main.
As the woman watched the vehicle pass, the driver, while looking at the woman, allegedly lifted his hips to reveal he was masturbating. He then continued driving north.
The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male between the ages of 25 and 30 with short, dark hair and a dark mustache, wearing a dark baseball cap pulled low and a cream-colored, button-down, collared shirt.
An investigation is ongoing.
