Rain, Snow Showers Possible for MLK Jr. Holiday Weekend in New Canaan

We'll see upper 40s and rain and then it turns bitterly cold and snow showers are possible too.

What a “winter” thus far for Connecticut? Earlier this week, the National Weather Service predicted there could be some ice and snow late Friday and into most of Saturday, but not anymore.

In fact, on Saturday high temps will be in the upper 40s. We will run the gamut this weekend for weather. There will be some heavy rain, warm temps, and after midnight Sunday and into Monday there is a chance for snow showers which could last until noon Monday for Connecticut.

The chance of snow showers for the entire state is at 30 percent right now. We’ll monitor that because some parts of Connecticut are still looking for their first accumulating snow.
