For the upcoming week ahead in New Canaan:

It looks like the weather for the week kicks off with partly cloudy skies in the mid-80s, which carries through until some predicted storms Thursday, according to weather.com.
For the next time you're in Grand Central and have a little time to spare: "The Next Level: Photographs by Hiroyuki Suzuki," an exhibit at the New York Transit Museum at Grand Central Terminal shows ongoing construction work 18 stories beneath the station. The exhibit, which just opened on Tuesday, July 23, runs through Oct. 27. The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., but closed on Mondays.
In city government activity, well, there is none this week. The calendar is clear through August 5.
Check out Artist Talk on Tuesday evening starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Silvermine Arts Center for Charles Hinman and Gary Lichtenstein discussing their latest silkscreen collaboration.
Visit neighboring Maplewood at Darien's Movie Night in the Garden for a special screening of Parental Guidance starting at 8 p.m. Wednesday night.
