Hey New Canaan, your weather outlook for the weekend is a a solid low-80s all weekend, with mostly sun everyday except Sunday, where some scattered thunderstorms are expected. 

The Gathering of the Vibes music festival returned Thursday to the 370-acre Seaside Park in Bridgeport for its 18th year. It rocks through the weekend. (Family Day is Sunday.)

There's no shortage of plays to check out over the weekend in New Canaan. Check here for a plethora from which to choose. 

Why not take a trip over to neighboring Stamford for a little star gazing Friday night? The Stamford Museum & Nature Center's installment of Astronomy Nights: Summer Constellations lets you get a peek at the sky through the observatory's research telescope. 

Rock legends The Beach Boys hit Mohegan Sun in Montville on Sunday. If tickets are still available, might be worth a trip for to jam with one of the greatest American rock bands.
