It looks like the weather for the week in New Canaan kicks off in the low 80s before reaching around 86 degrees by Wednesday. It's predicted sunny to partly cloudy skies all week, though, according to weather.com, with no signs of rain.
The Silvermine Arts Center at 1037 Silvermine Road will be featuring the art of Barbara Rothenberg starting Thursday and running through September 15. The public is invited to the exhibition kickoff at 6:30 p.m. They'll also e kicking off an exhibition featuring the work of the artist-teachers of the school at the say time.
The 5th Annual All Out for Autism 5k Run/Walk will be held Friday at 6 p.m. starting at the New Canaan New Balance at 128 Main Street. Click here for a registration link.
It's Game Week Fun @ New Canaan Library, so make your way over at 1 p.m. every day to participate in board games, puzzles and Mad-Libs. There's also Movie Monday at 4 p.m. where they'll be showing She Fell AMong Thieves and the "I'm Starting Kindergarten" orientation program on Friday at 11 a.m.
New Canaan Youth Football practices begin Monday at 5 p.m. at the Water Tower Fields, so if you've got a young football star in the making, make sure they're ready to go!
