NEW HAVEN, CT — Three toddlers and two teachers were hit by a car on Friday afternoon in New Haven, according to media reports, including NBC CT.

The driver was cited for not yielding the right of way, NBC CT reported. One teacher and one child suffered fractures, according to NBC CT.

The accident occurred near Wilbur Cross High School, and two children were released from the hospital later on Friday. The toddlers were attending an on-site day care center, News 8 reported.
