34-Year-Old Shot In New Haven: Police

The incident occurred around 4 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of East Street, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A 34-year-old man was shot overnight in New Haven, police said.

Officers responded around 4 a.m. Sunday to the 300 block of East Street in the Wooster Square neighborhood, according to police, who said the victim, a New Haven man, suffered a gunshot wound.

His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
