45-Year-Old Killed At Home In New Haven: Police
Authorities are asking anyone with information to call police.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Police have identified a man who was fatally shot Friday in New Haven.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. at a home on Carmel Street between Whalley Avenue and Percival Street, according to police, who found 45-year-old Gregory Perez suffering from a single gunshot wound. He died of his injuries at the scene, police said.
Shotspotter was not activated in connection with the incident but ballistic evidence was found at the scene, according to police. Authorities are asking anyone with information to call 203-946-6304 or anonymously contact 866-888-8477, police said.
