'New Year, New Haven:' Don't Miss Free, Family-Friendly New Year's Day Fest On The Green, In City Hall
Live music, DJs, puppet show, carousel/slide rides, crafts, food trucks, and magic show, hot chocolate and more Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Called 'New Year, New Haven,' the free, family-friendly festival on the New Haven Green, is set for Thursday, New Year's Day with events on the Green and inside City hall in downtown New Haven. Expect live music, DJs, carousel and slide rides, arts & crafts station, food trucks, a puppet show and a magic show, plus hot chocolate all "aim to bring community spirit to the city's center."
Hosted by the Committee of the Proprietors of the New Haven Green, the free festivities begin at 2 p.m. and end at 7 p.m.
