After 59 Years, New Haven's "Go To Lady" Retires From City Hall
After nearly six decades of service in New Haven City Hall a party was held honoring Patty Lawlor on Wednesday night - her last day of work.

NEW HAVEN, CT - Current and past movers and shakers in the city of New Haven came to City Hall Wednesday evening to say goodbye to an icon.
Patricia Lawlor, the 77-year-old deputy chief of staff, retired on Wednesday, after close to 6 decades of service to the city.

She worked for the city for 59 years.
On Wednesday evening, after City Hall closed for the day, scores jammed into the room to say goodbye to Lawlor. They honored her with a going away party.
