After Argument At Liquor Store, New Haven Man Shot In His Leg: NHPD

Monday, at around 2:30 p.m., cops were called to a Derby Ave. package store for a reported shooting.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Monday at around 2:30 p.m., New Haven police officers were dispatched to Yale Bowl, Wine and Liquor, 85 Derby Ave., for the report of a person shot following an argument, police posted to "X."

When they got there they found a New Haven man, 33, who had been shot in one of his legs police said. The victim was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
