Albertus Magnus College, New Haven Promise Expand Program

New Haven Promise alumni will be able to obtain a degree through Albertus' Professional and Graduate Studies Division.

NEW HAVEN, CT — As Meister Eckhart famously said, “Wisdom consists in doing the next thing you have to do, doing it with your whole heart, and finding delight in doing it.”

This can also be said of those who wish to continue their education in pursuit of more personal knowledge, a new job, or a promotion at their current workplace.

As a way to further promote the importance of life-long learning, Albertus Magnus College is pleased to announce that its ongoing partnership with New Haven Promise has expanded. It now includes opportunities for New Haven Promise alumni the chance to increase their knowledge even more by obtaining a degree through Albertus’ Professional and Graduate Studies Division.

"We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Albertus Magnus to include graduate programs,” New Haven Promise president Patricia Melton said. "Our Scholars are lifelong learners and this opportunity gives them a chance to continue their education locally, with flexibility to pursue their passions. We look forward to increasing the number of our alumni obtaining master’s degrees through this program."

A 15-percent tuition discount will be provided to New Haven Promise alumni who enroll in an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program offered through the Albertus’ PGS program. This commitment will also provide access to employment and student internship opportunities through New Haven Promise as well as invitations to career fairs and other professional development events.
