​​Anthony Joseph Yannella, 22, of Milford, passed away on October 7th, 2025

Anthony, a bright light in the lives of all who knew him, passed away leaving behind a legacy of joy, curiosity, and compassion.

Anthony Joseph Yannella, 22, of Milford, beloved son of James and Pamela (Eyler) Yannella, passed away after a brief and unexpected illness on October 7, 2025. Anthony was born on September 17, 2003 at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Anthony, a bright light in the lives of all who knew him, passed away leaving behind a legacy of joy, curiosity, and compassion. A proud graduate of Foran High School, he was a dedicated member of the marching band and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, completing a meaningful service project at Camp Cedarcrest.


Anthony earned his Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security and Networking from the University of New Haven, where he thrived both academically and socially. He played trumpet with passion and pride, was a beloved member of the Kappa Kappa Psi Band Fraternity and actively participated in the gaming and hacking clubs. His talent and dedication were nationally recognized by the Department of Energy for identifying a critical security breach.

A fan of Fortnite, Star Wars, Marvel, and spirited political debate, Anthony approached life with contagious energy and optimism. Whether deep in research or cracking jokes with friends, he was always upbeat, goofy, and ready to make others smile. He was a friend to all and loved joining in on plans, no matter how big or small, just to be part of the joy and memories shared with others.
Anthony's memory will live on in the laughter he inspired, the friendships he cherished, and the difference he made in his community. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.


In addition to his loving parents, Anthony leaves behind his brothers, Christopher and Nicholas; his grandparents Patricia “Patty” and Albert “Al”; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his best friend and tuxedo cat, Sabrina.

Friends and family may call from 12pm to 3pm on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT. A Prayer Service will take place at 2:30pm at the funeral home. Private Interment will take place at Saint Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford.

In lieu of flowers, any contributions made in Anthony's honor will go towards his educational funding.
