Avelo Airlines At Tweed Adds Palm Beach To Florida Destinations
Palm Beach is the 5th Sunshine State destination added with $59 intro fares. Holiday flights to Tampa and Ft. Myers were also increased.
NEW HAVEN, CT —The just-announced non-stop flights from New Haven to Palm Beach, Florida beginning in December have introductory fares that start at $59, Avelo Airlines said Wednesday.
Saying it is "building on the positive response" to the its debut of service from New Haven to Florida, airport executive director Sean Scanlon said in a news release that there will be two flights a day to Palm Beach from Dec. 16 to Jan. 4, 2022.
Last month, Avelo announced that starting Nov. 3, it will fly direct, non-stop to Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando and Tampa. Palm Beach is its fifth Sunshine State destination.

“Getting from Connecticut to one of the world’s most coveted oceanfront destinations is now more convenient and affordable than ever,” Avelo Chairman CEO Andrew Levy said.
"We’re very excited to add yet another nonstop destination to Tweed-New Haven and to build upon our existing partnership with Avelo Airlines,” Scanlon said.

Increased holiday flight frequency to Fort Myers and Tampa
Avelo is also increasing the frequency of its previously announced routes to Fort Myers’ Southwest Florida International Airport and Tampa International Airport for the peak holiday season.
Avelo will increase its flying between New Haven and Fort Myers from three days per week to daily starting Dec. 16 through Jan. 4, 2022 and to Tampa from four days per week to daily.
Service to these destinations start in early November.
