BlumShapiro, Christian Community Action Provide Thanksgiving Foods to New Haven Residents

From Sullivan & LeShane Public Relations: On November 19, 50 BlumShapiro volunteers, their families and friends joined Christian Community Action (CCA) to prepare 2,300 bags of food for distribution to New Haven seniors and families in time for Thanksgiving Day.

The annual BlumShapiro Thanksgiving Food Basket Campaign has provided more than 10,000 Thanksgiving meals to individuals and families served by CCA. Among those volunteers at the bagging event were Rev. Bonita Grubbs, CCA Executive Director; Tom DeVitto, BlumShapiro Chief Marketing Officer; John Zinno, BlumShapiro Shelton Office Managing Partner, and John Noonan, CCA Director of Development.
