Boy, 13, Shot In Leg In New Haven
The boy is in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A 13-year-old boy was shot in the leg in New Haven Saturday afternoon, police said.
Authorities were dispatched to the area of Shelton Avenue and Ivy Street for the report of a person shot just before 3 p.m. Saturday. They found the young victim a block away with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The boy was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital where he is in stable condition with a non-life threatening wound.

Detectives are searching for evidence and witnesses. The exact location where the boy was shot is unknown.
“We’re asking for the public’s help. If anyone has information that can lead us to the perpetrator, we’re eager to talk to them," New Haven Assistant Police Chief Achilles Generoso said in a statement.
