Boy In Critical Condition After Bike Crash: Police
The vehicle involved fled the scene, police said.
NEW HAVEN, CT — A juvenile was in critical condition after a crash Saturday in New Haven, according to police.
Officers responded around 11:15 a.m. to Forbes Avenue near Tomlinson Bridge, where a black sedan had been traveling west with two bicyclists holding onto the car from the side of its front windows when the cyclists lost control and fell, leaving one with a head injury, police said.
The boy was taken to Yale New Haven Children's Hospital with critical injuries and was last listed in critical but stable condition, according to police, who said the sedan fled the scene.
