Bridgeport Man With Non-Life-Threatening Gunshot Wound, Driven To Hospital In A Private Car: NHPD

NEW HAVEN, CT — At around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, cops were called to the York Street main campus of Yale New Haven Hospital for a gunshot victim who arrived by a private vehicle, police posted to "X."

The victim, a 36-year-old Bridgeport man, suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, police said. The wound was non-life-threatening, authorities added.

Police said that the "Victim and his companion gave conflicting accounts of what occurred, no crime scene was located, and it is unclear where the incident occurred."
