Car Crashes Into Tree, Person Found Shot: New Haven Police
"It appears that the victim was being targeted and chased by another vehicle at the time of the shooting," police said.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Police said they responded to a report of a car crashed into a tree and a person shot inside.
At 2:45 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the 100 block of Bassett Street for a report of a car crashed into a tree with a person shot inside, police said.
Police found the vehicle unoccupied and located the victim and another person walking about a block away, police said.

Both were taken to the hospital for treatment. "It appears that the victim was being targeted and chased by another vehicle at the time of the shooting," police said.
