Colloquially Known As Nuggets, Nuggets, Nuggets, Garden Catering Downtown Shutters After 7 Years
"Bummerino, their chicken nuggets rock," a social media user said. The chicken joint closed its Chapel St., store doors for good Saturday.

NEW HAVEN, CT — The deep-fried chicken breast chunks came in a bag. Large and meaty, the nuggets also came with fries layered in the same bag. And, a seasoning packet. Popular, presumably, but the eatery Garden Catering, whose sign, Nuggets, Nuggets, Nuggets, was a fixture for the past seven-plus years on Chapel Street in downtown New Haven has closed its doors for good.
"The Garden Catering team has made the difficult decision to close our New Haven location as of Saturday, Oct. 11," the business posted to its website. "It has been an honor to be part of this great neighborhood and serve the Best Nuggets You'll Ever Have for over seven years."
Meanwhile, the Garden Catering restaurant chain noted it is opening locations in Shelton and Darien and already has locations 10 other locations in Fairfield and Westchester, NY counties.
