The city's longest-running dining celebration offers deals at 23 restaurants featuring prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus.

NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven Restaurant Week, a biannual culinary celebration of the city’s best food, returns April 6-11, featuring prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus at exclusive prices. Discover $45 or $55 three-course dinners at 23 restaurants, with 14 offering $25 two-course lunches.

Pricing for lunch and dinner is per person, excluding beverages, tax, and gratuity.

"Since its inception 17 years ago, New Haven Restaurant Week has been an essential part of our city's culinary fabric," said Bruno Baggetta, Director of Market New Haven. "The promotion brings together residents and visitors to experience the best of New Haven’s dining scene, featuring special menus curated by our local chefs, designed to showcase their talents. We are grateful to Yale University and New Haven Health, whose steadfast support has helped make this event a beloved tradition."

New Haven Restaurant Week is set to tantalize taste buds with a diverse culinary showcase featuring 23 restaurants spanning eight neighborhoods across the city. Participants offer a rich tapestry of global cuisine flavors, including Peruvian, Belgian, Spanish, Modern American, and more.

Adding to the excitement, two new culinary gems have joined the lineup: Habesha Ethiopia Restaurant & Bar, bringing authentic Ethiopian flavors to the Whitney-Audubon District, and Jack’s Bar and Steakhouse, a refined downtown destination offering prime-grade steaks and expertly crafted dishes.

Beyond the delectable dining experiences offered during New Haven Restaurant Week, the city invites travelers to immerse themselves in a vibrant mosaic of cultural offerings. Just steps from many participating restaurants, the Yale University Art Gallery beckons with its world-renowned collections. The Yale Center for British Art reopens its doors on March 29th after an extensive renovation, inviting guests to rediscover the most comprehensive collection of British art outside the UK.

Further enriching the city's vibrant atmosphere, the 52nd Annual Cherry Blossom Festival paints Wooster Square Park in a breathtaking display on April 6th, offering live music, tempting food vendors, and family-friendly festivities. For an unforgettable evening of dinner and a show, the Shubert Theatre presents 'The Music of Hans Zimmer' on April 10th, celebrating the iconic composer’s scores from cinematic masterpieces like Dune, James Bond, and Interstellar.

For added convenience during New Haven Restaurant Week, diners can enjoy two hours of free parking at The Shops at Yale with same-day purchases of $50 or more at participating restaurants (valid at the 255 Crown Street and 56 Broadway lots) and a $5 parking rate at the Crown Street and Temple Street Garages from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. offered by Park New Haven throughout the week.
