CT State Community College Hosts Workforce Career & Innovation Summit Focused on Energy and Water Utilities

New Haven, CT – November 7, 2025 — CT State Community College Gateway will host a Workforce Career & Innovation Summit showcasing careers in Energy and Water Public Utility Management and Operations. The Summit will be held at CT State Gateway in the Curran Community Center and all are welcome.

Event Details

Date: Thursday, November 13

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Program will begin at 9:00 a.m.)

Location: CT State Community College Gateway, Curran Community Center, Room N100, 20 Church Street, New Haven. Parking is free with validation in the Temple Garage.

The summit will introduce high-demand careers that support essential public infrastructure across Connecticut and beyond. Students and community members will gain a direct pipeline to two industries integral to the future of Connecticut.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Gain insights into in-demand careers in the Energy and Water sectors

• Hear directly from industry professionals, leaders, and innovators

• Explore training programs, internships, and credential opportunities

• Connect with potential employers and mentors.

The career and innovation summit targets students in degree and certificate programs studying engineering, environmental science, potable and wastewater management, alumni and professionals.
