Second Man Dies After New Haven Double Shooting, New Haven Police Say
A 26-year-old and a 32-year-old man are both dead after a shooting, police said Tuesday.
NEW HAVEN, CT — At 2:20 p.m. Monday, police reported on social media that officers "were out with a double shooting on Dickerman Street."
Forty minutes later, just before 3 p.m., police said the case was "now a homicide investigation," as one of the men injured by gunfire had "succumbed to his injuries."
Soon after, police said the man who died was 26, and the other victim, who was "in surgery," was "tentatively identified as a 32-year-old male."

Now, as of early Tuesday morning, police report that the other man has died as a result of his gunshot injuries.
"Identities will be released once families of both have been notified.," police wrote on "X."

Monday, when asked for any additional information, New Haven police spokesperson Officer Christian Bruckhart said that the two men were "together" and there was a "possible dispute prior to the shooting."
