NEW HAVEN, CT — This week, the opening of Little Lotus, an Asian-inspired restaurant in the restored former City Point Kitchen on the Pequonnock Yacht Club campus in New Haven's historic City Point neighborhood, was celebrated with elected officials and community leaders.

This new venture is the latest from husband-and-wife restaurateurs Larry and Nia Wang, also owners of Red Lotus in Shelton. And the menu is created by a team of chefs with formal training from the Culinary Institute of America and the Culinary Institute of Philadelphia.

The menu is impressive and mouth-watering.

Over the past two years, Larry and Nia have collaborated closely with the City's Historic District Commission to restore the building, ensuring it reflects its historical character.

The City Point waterfront community dates back to the 1800s as one of New Haven's earliest planned suburban developments, which built a thriving maritime community.

The restaurant sits on the Pequonnock Yacht Club campus, which is celebrating its 120th anniversary.
