ID Of Man Killed By Red-Light Running Hit & Run Driver Released: PD
Police said a suspect, who had initially fled the scene, has been identified.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Nader Elias Hanania, 63, of West Haven, was killed when a red-light running car collided with his vehicle early Wednesday, police said.
Police said at 4:54 a.m. police responded to the intersection of College Street and South Frontage Road for a reported two-car collision.
Video showed that a Hyundai Accent was traveling on College Street from MLK Boulevard. As the Hyundai begins to enter the intersection of South Frontage Road and College Street, a Toyota Supra, which is driving south on South Frontage Road, travels "through the red traffic control signal and collides with the passenger-side of the Hyundai," police said.

The driver inside the Toyota fled the scene. The driver of the Hyundai suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he later died, police said.
Police said a suspect has been identified, and the investigation is ongoing. The ID of the suspect has not yet been released.
