NEW HAVEN, CT — The iconic Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in New Haven at 157 Wooster St. will be closed on Saturday, June 21 as the beloved pizzeria celebrates its 100th anniversary.

In a Facebook post, Pepe's posted the following message: "This year marks 100 years since Frank and Filomena Pepe opened a humble bakery on Wooster Street. We never imagined that their dream would grow into something so meaningful to so many.

"To honor their legacy and this once-in-a-lifetime milestone, our Frank Pepe’s New Haven location will be closed on Saturday, June 21, 2025. We’ll be gathering with our team, our partners, and our Pepe family to celebrate the people and the values that brought us here. We are incredibly grateful for every guest who’s walked through our doors over the past century. Your loyalty, your stories, and your love for our pizza are what keep us going. From all of us at Pepe’s, thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to the next 100 years—together."
