National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live.

"This event enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while fostering a true sense of community," New Haven police shared. "It also provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances and provide access to services that families can benefit from."
National Night Out is Tuesday, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 PM at Troup School, 259 Edgewood Ave.
There will be free food, music, fun activities, informational booths, and more.
