Hamden Man, 38, Shot In New Haven Tuesday Night Hospitalized: Police
It was around 11 p.m. when Shotspotter alerted cops to gunfire on Washington Avenue and West Street where a man had been shot, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police said a Shotspotter alert brought them to Washington Avenue and West Street at 11 p.m. Tuesday night for a gunfire report.
They found a crime scene and ballistic evidence, police said. Around 10 minutes later, a Hamden man, 38, walked into Yale New Haven Hospital with gunshot wounds that were deemed non-life-threatening.
Investigators spoke to “people involved," New Haven police tweeted on "X."
