Juvenile Shot Halloween Night, Walked Into Yale New Haven Hospital: PD

The young victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but cops said "based on conflicting statements," the shooting location is unknown.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Late Tuesday night, a teen gunshot victim walked into Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment, police said.

At around 10:45 p.m. police got the report and were told by medical personnel that the victim sustained a non-life threatening injury, police spokesperson Sgt. Cherelle Carr said.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit and Bureau of Identification were to respond "to the scene to collect evidence and speak with potential witnesses," but Carr said, "based on conflicting statements," cops do not know here the shooting happened.
