Man, 60, Charged In Feb. Assault Of Homeless Man At Union Station: PD

NEW HAVEN, CT — On Feb. 22, a 52-year-old man homeless man was attacked in Union Station with a wrench and suffered traumatic injuries to his face and head, police said.

Monday, another New Haven man was charged in the "serious assault," police posted to "X."

Police said that Detective Thomas Blaisdell from the Major Crimes Unit was assigned to investigate and was able to secure an arrest warrant for Mark Boykin, 60, on the charge of first-degree assault.

Boykin was taken into custody Monday without incident and is being held on $150,000 bond, police said.
