Man Fatally Stabbed After Argument At Business: New Haven Police

NEW HAVEN, CT — An argument at a local business has led to the stabbing death of a New Haven man, police said.

At 1:09 a.m. police said a man walked into a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said they learned that Travis James, 47, had been stabbed and not shot. He was initially in critical condition but later died, police said.

James was dropped off at the hospital by a private vehicle. He had been at Sam's Mart on Whalley Avenue when he got into an argument with an unknown person and was later stabbed, police said.
