Man Fatally Struck In Hit-And-Run Crash In New Haven: Police
First responders rendered aid, but he had succumbed to his injuries, and was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.
NEW HAVEN, NY — A man was fatally struck in a hit-and-run crash in New Haven early Saturday morning, police said.
When first responders were dispatched to the scene at around 2:18 a.m., they found Luis Timbala in the roadway on State Street and rendered him medical aid, but he had already succumbed to his injuries and he was pronounced dead, according to police.
His family has been notified, police said.

The New Haven Police Department's Crash Reconstruction Team is actively investigating, according to police.
