Man Shot, Injured Inside Wooster Strip Club Overnight Sunday
The Catwalk, site of 2008 double murder, is now under "new management," and was the scene of a 4 a.m., non-fatal shooting, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Shots rang out at around 4 a.m. inside an East Street strip club Sunday injuring a 34-year-old man, police said.
The New Haven man was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening wounds, police said.
The Catwalk, previously shuttered, and re-opened under new owners and new management is described as "Connecticut's finest strip club experience." The club's hours are from 8 p.m. until 4 a.m., according to its social media. The venue is a "BYOB establishment."

In 2008 two men were shot dead outside the strip club. In 2010, a New Haven man was sentenced to life in prison for the double murder.
Markease Hill, now 50, was convicted and sentence to life without parole in 2010 on two counts of murder and a capital felony, judicial and corrections records show, in the 2008 shooting deaths of Ensley Myrick and Joseph Reed in the club's parking lot.

It's unclear if the shooting inside the club will once again shutter the strip joint. New Haven police spokesperson Officer Christian Bruckhart said as to club permitting, "that may end up going to relevant state agencies."
